Keep Your Pets Cool In a Heat Wave

While temperatures rise abnormally high in much of the country, be sure to protect your animal companions.

The National Weather Service has issued severe weather alert heat advisories about the potentially dangerous combination of heat and humidity that’s gripping our part of the nation.  Since we are under a heat advisory we offer the following hot weather tips:

Shade and water are a must.

Limit exercise on hot days.

Recognize the signs of heatstroke.

If you think your pet is suffering from heatstroke, act quickly!

COOL STUFF FOR YOUR PET

Freeze up some treats for your canine friends. Help your dog chill out with these quick and easy DIY popsicles, made from peanut butter or another favorite food.
