Volunteer

Join our Volunteer Team!
People who volunteer for Robinson’s Rescue come from all walks of life. Some are retirees fulfilling a passion they have for animals. Some are stay-at-home moms or dads, professionals who give their time on the weekends, and others are students in college working for service learning credits. They all share a passion for animals and a commitment to help make a difference!
Help the Medical Team
Volunteers help the medical team by cleaning kennels, washing towels/blankets, preparing food for the recovering animals, sterilizing instruments, making surgery packs and restocking medical supplies. Shifts are available from 7:00-11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Spread the Word about Spay/Neuter
Community Outreach Volunteers lead tabling efforts at festivals and fairs, and help with planning and staffing of special fundraising events. We are always looking for people who enjoy meeting new people and have a passion for animals. Many of our events occur on the weekends and work well for working professionals.
Administrative Support
Volunteers work at the front desk, performing clerical duties such as filing medical paperwork, answering phones, booking appointments and talking with clients. Many of these volunteers come from the business world and bring a professional attitude and commitment to the animals.
Young Volunteers
Due to liability restraints, volunteers must be at least 18 years old. We do have youth volunteer opportunities like organizing a pet food drive to collect dog and cat food for our clinic, fundraisers like bake sales, and more.
If you are interested in any of the volunteer opportunities or would like more information, please e-mail us at office@robinsonsrescue.org. We look forward to meeting you and to working together to reduce pet overpopulation in our community!
All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application and sign a liability agreement.
